This is a gatefold, double heavyweight vinyl pressing of a show by Gavin Osborn and Me from 2006 - it was our first proper collaboration and remains a pretty lovely thing. In fact, if you’re into acoustic folk inflected songs and whimsical storytelling about love punctuated with odd bits of profanity, i think you’ll struggle to find a finer example of that (admittedly specific) genre.
We performed it initially in Regents Park Open Air Theatre and then toured it around Australia the following year, i think.
We recorded this without an audience, in a little studio that used to be in Crystal Palace in South East London with a lovely man called Julian who we took great pleasure in calling - Bad Juju.
Also the album artwork includes a photo my dad took. So. What more do you need?
